What's new
Every Rapid Cart release, newest first — what changed and when.
- v1.3.0
A free plan, buyer payments and trials on every paid plan
Rapid Cart has a free plan again, buyers can pay for their orders from their tracking page, and every paid plan comes with a free trial you can start whenever you like.
- The Free plan gives you your order link, customer updates and tracking, and a payment link for your buyers, with an allowance of new orders each month
- Buyers can pay from their tracking page: through your own payment link on every plan, or by card through your own Stripe account on paid plans
- Mark any order as paid yourself, however the money arrived
- Start a 14-day free trial of Basic, Pro or Business from your billing page, no card needed; when it ends you are back on Free with everything kept
- Your dashboard shows how often your page was opened this month and how many orders came in
- If your page reaches its monthly allowance you get an email at 80% and at 100%, and it opens again on the first of the next month
- v1.2.0
Kitchen tickets and preferred collection times
Print any order as a ticket for the kitchen, and let customers pick the time they want their order, not just the day.
- Print a kitchen ticket for any order, sized for a receipt printer, with the reference, the time it is wanted, what to make and who it is for
- Accepted orders have a print button right in the order list
- Customers can choose a preferred time in 15-minute steps, beside the date or on its own
- Set your earliest and latest times, and the form only offers slots inside them, skipping any already gone today
- Orders can now be priced in pounds as well as euro and dollars
- If an order cannot be sent, everything the customer typed stays in the form
- Choose in your settings whether to get occasional tips by email, and change your mind any time
- A page set up for you can be taken over from your dashboard in one step
- Three new free guides: Google Forms for cake orders, order form apps compared, and Etsy or your own order link
- v1.1.1
Free tools and guides for taking orders
A set of free guides and tools for anyone who takes orders through their DMs, open to everyone with no account needed, and prices shown in pounds for sellers in the UK.
- Turn a customer conversation into a clean order: paste the DM and get the details laid out, what is still missing, and a reply that asks for it
- A free cake order form template, printable or ready to copy into your own form
- Guides to taking orders on Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook, and to pricing homemade cakes, with a free costing spreadsheet
- Free guides and worksheets now download straight from the page, with a copy emailed to keep
- Plans are shown and billed in pounds for sellers in the UK
- The sign-up page links to the free tools, for anyone not ready to create an account yet
- Links to Rapid Cart now show a clearer preview when shared
- v1.1.0
Photos on your order page, and simpler order management
Your order page can now show photos of what you make, and moving an order along takes a single button instead of a dropdown and a save.
- Add photos of your work to your order page, each with its own caption
- Customers can start an order from a photo, with the description already filled in
- Accept, decline or mark an order ready in one click
- Private notes are now clearly separated from the messages your customer reads
- An order that was declined or already finished can be reopened
- A promo code can be entered when you sign up, or later on your billing page
- Rapid Cart can be added to your phone's home screen and opened like an app
- v1.0.6
Order status updates and customer tracking
Customers are now notified automatically when an order's status changes, and can follow an order's progress on a tracking page of their own.
- Marking an order accepted, declined or ready emails the customer immediately
- An optional message can be included with any status update
- Each order has a tracking page customers can open without an account
- The tracking link is shown on the order, ready to share
- Order notification emails have been redesigned
- Billing, settings and sign-out are now in a single account menu
- v1.0.5
Print your QR code
Until now your QR code could only be downloaded and then wrestled into a document before it was any use on paper. There is now a Print button on your dashboard, and a place to lay out what goes around the code.
- Print a ready-made sign straight from the dashboard, on every plan
- Start from a market stall sign, a table tent that folds and stands up, sticker sheets, business card backs, a shelf label or a window poster
- On paid plans, set your own header and footer, add your logo, choose the paper size and fit up to twelve copies on a sheet
- Save a design and reprint it whenever you need more
- v1.0.4
Sharper links and search results
Sharing a Rapid Cart link now looks the way it should. Link previews on social apps and messengers have been rebuilt, and the site tells search engines which address is the real one.
- Refreshed preview card when you paste a link into Instagram, WhatsApp or anywhere else
- Your own order page is kept out of search results, so it is yours to share rather than something strangers stumble across
- v1.0.3
Sign up in under a minute
Creating an account used to ask you to invent a web address before you had seen anything. Now your order page is ready the moment you register, built from the name you signed up with.
- No setup step — your link exists as soon as you have an account
- A short guided tour on your first visit, with a help button to replay it
- Describe what you sell right on your dashboard, next to your link
- Orders list gained search, filters, sorting and a proper switch between active and archived
- v1.0.2
A clearer front page
You can now look at a real order page before deciding whether to sign up, and prices show in your own currency.
- See a live example order page without an account
- Prices shown in euros or US dollars, picked automatically
- Sign in with Google in one tap
- v1.0.1
Plans, multiple links and your say
Rapid Cart grew past one order page per person, and gained a way to tell us what is missing.
- Free, Pro and Business plans with clear limits
- Run several order pages from one account on Pro and above
- Browse archived orders and add your own logo on paid plans
- Send feedback from any page without leaving what you were doing
- v1.0.0

The first release. One link that turns messages into proper orders.
- Your own order page at a web address you choose
- Customers order without creating an account
- Every request arrives by email and lands in your dashboard
